    Fireweed Mountain Lodge is located at mile 59 of McCarthy Road on the vehicle-friendly side of the footbridge over the Kennecott River.

    Leave your vehicle with us and explore the area on foot, bike, or your ATV. The only way to cross the river to McCarthy and Kennecott in the summer is the footbridge. There is no vehicle bridge for public use to cross the river. Free shuttles are available from the footbridge.

    From Fireweed Mountain Lodge:

    Food and drinks & coffee and ice cream are 1/4 mile

    The footbridge is 3/4 mile

    McCarthy town is 1 1/2 miles

    Kennecott Mine Town is 6 1/2 miles

    West Glacier and Fireweed Mountain trails are directly from the Lodge
